Actor Adam Sandler is the latest celebrity victim of a death hoax. This rumor reported by the global associated news reported that supposedly Sandler was killed in a snowboarding accident while at a ski resort in Zermatt, Switzerland. They reported that this…“Sandler lost control of his snowboard and struck a tree at a high rate of speed… Sandler was air lifted by ski patrol teams to a local hospital; however, it is believed that the actor died instantly from the impact of the crash.”
So does this sound familiar at all? Well the global associated news reported that same exact thing on Charlie Sheen yesterday. The only difference is replacing Sheen’s name for Sandler’s. A rep for Sandler says,
“It’s completely not true and such irresponsible journalism.”
This death hoax has once again caused a stir on twitter.com, the terms “adam sandler dies,” “adam sandler dead”, “adam sandler died,” “adam sandler death”, “adam sandler died 2010” are have been all been at one time or another on the trending topics list on twitter.com from tweeters trying to figure out if this hoax was real.
