Nissan launches Sunny at Rs 5.78 lakh

Nissan has officially launched its mid-size sedan Sunny at a highly competitive price.
Priced at Rs 5.78 lakh, the base XE variant gets on-board drive computer, manually adjustable anti-dazzling mirror, headlight-on and key-inserted warning lamp, ABS, EBD and Brake Assistance, Driver Airbag and Door Ajar warning.

The XL, which is priced at Rs 6.88 lakh, comes with added features like electronically adjustable mirrors, chrome-plated outside door handles and radiator grille, rear defroster, integrated audio system with four speakers and AUX, steering-mounted audio controls, rear comfort fan, keyless entry, front passenger airbag, anti-theft alarm and speed-sensing automatic door locks. And the top-end XV, at Rs 7.68 lakh, has an added advantage of alloy wheels, push start/stop button and electronically folding rear-view mirrors.

Nissan is expected to launch the diesel version of the Sunny during the 2012 January Auto Expo in New Delhi.
