Abhishek Bachchan was seriously injured on Wednesday morning, while filming for a stunt sequence for Rohit Shetty's Bol Bachchan.
Reportedly, Abhishek was rushed back to Mumbai for a further check up. The actor apparently had to get six stitches on his head, above his eye.
A source explained, "Abhishek was shooting a stunt sequence with a cycle rickshaw, when he got injured. He got a deep cut on his head, above the right eye. He started bleeding and was immediately rushed to a local hospital. There he was advised to return to Mumbai."
"Abhishek returned to Mumbai, last evening. He was attended to by doctors, at his Juhu residence.
The actor had six stitches and will have to rest for a couple of days at least before he can resume work. Meanwhile, the shoots for Bol Bachchan have been temporarily cancelled," added the source.
