Salman can do anything for buddy Aamir

While the cold war between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan continues, the camaraderie between Salman and Aamir Khan is growing leaps and bounds.

The friendship between the two actors has grown from strength to strength over the past few years and both of them go out of their way to help each other whenever the time arises. The latest is that on Aamir Khan’s request, Salman Khan has decided to postpone the release of his film ‘Ek Tha Tiger’.

‘Ek Tha Tiger’ was initially scheduled to release on June 12, 2012. However, Aamir too, wanted his next film being directed by Reema Kagti to release on the same date. Aamir promptly asked buddy Salman to shift the release date of ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and Sallu agreed as well.

Salman went and spoke to Aditya Chopra(the producer of ETT) and told him about Aamir’s request. Aditya promptly agreed to the idea and now his film will release during Eid next year.

This isn’t the first time that Reema Kagti’s film’s release date was changed. The film which is yet to be named, was earlier scheduled to release on 26th January. But perfectionist Aamir felt that that post production stage will require some more time and hence the date was changed. Besides, Karan Johar’s ‘Agneepath’ starring Hrithik is also relasing on 26th January and Aamir felt the clash would not be good.

So while Salman has gallantly given friend Aamir June 12 to release his film, Salman and Katrina’s film ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ will now release during Eid. And considering that the past three films of Salman’s had an Eid release and were blockbusters, Yash Raj is hoping that the this film would rake in the moolah as well.

Katrina desperate for an image makeover in ‘Dhoom 3’?

Just because Katrina Kaif locked lips with Hrithik Roshan in ‘Zindagi Milegi Dobara’ doesn’t mean that the girl will do anything to justify the demands of a character.

Apparently, Katrina has not only denied wearing an itsy-bitsy bikini in the film but has also categorically refused to share a passionate kiss with Aamir Khan in ‘Dhoom 3’.

Hmm…it appears that Katrina wants to give clear message. The girl is sensible and mature enough not to do anything that jeopardizes her reputation when it comes to making it big in Bollywood.

Now that takes some guts, hope other B-Town lasses are all eyes and ears!

Aamir Khan bonds with Karan Johar

Aamir Khan found a new friend in his arch rival Shah Rukh Khan's closest buddy Karan Johar and Shahid Kapoor spent some quality time with Anushka Sharma at Imran Khan's success party on Thursday night

While Anushka Sharma and Shahid Kapoor were spotted spending a lot of time together at Imran Khan's dual success party of Delhi Belly and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, it was the budding of another friendship that got everyone whispering. Reportedly, Karan Johar spent most of the night in the company of Aamir Khan, his best friend SRK's rival.

Imran Khan And as with most Bollywood bashes, the cops came knocking at Imran's Pali Hill residence at 3 am to ask the host to turn down the music. But it was the new best friends, Karan and Aamir, who pacified the law men and made sure that nothing dampened the spirit of the party. With Aamir and Karan visibly bonding, the industry has been abuzz with speculation about the two collaborating professionally.

The rumour doing the rounds is that Karan plans to cast Aamir in one of his forthcoming productions.

A source told Mumbai Mirror, "Karan was seen huddled in a serious, private conversation with Aamir, almost all evening. Karan and Aamir were so deep in discussion that they didn't realize it was 4 am, when they left. In fact, the two along with Deepika were among the last guests to leave."

Even though all eyes were on Karan and Aamir, what also garnered attention was the absence of many on the guest list - namely Ranbir Kapoor and Imran's leading ladies in Delly Belly and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. Shernaz Tresurywallah and Poorna Jagannthan of Delhi Belly as well as Katrina Kaif of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan were all abroad for one reason or another.

While the leading ladies of the two films being celebrated were not present, Imran's other female co-stars, Sonam and Deepika , attended the bash. And of course Deepika didn't forget to bring along Mallya Jr.

Ajay Devgn challenges Aamir Khan

Ajay Devgn-starrer 'Tezz' to release with Aamir Khan-starrer in January 2012...

Actor Ajay Devgn who is experiencing a career high with the success of Singham has proved that he has has a marketing mind, too. The actor's film 'Tezz' directed by Priyadarshan was all set to release in November this year. However, a possible clash with Ranbir Kapoor's 'Rockstar' didn't seem to be a good idea.

Sources inform us that the Ajay-starrer will now release on January 26, 2012. The movie's release date will clash with Aamir Khan's film being directed by Reema Kagti, but the cast and crew of Tezz is all set to take up this challenge.

A source informs us, "The producers have obviously weighed the pros and cons, and taken the decision."

With Ajay Devgn proving to have the Midas touch, and with Aamir Khan knowing the tricks of the trade by the back of his hand, this will be one takkar that's going to be good to watch!
